About three years ago I sold my tech company and began exploring what I'd do next. I hadn't smoked the "new" cannabis ever, I was only familiar with street weed.
That first experiment sent me on a journey to discover what we were all missing. As I studied the industry and the products, I found so many fake and unreliable products. I tried a few CBD tinctures that seemed to ease anxiety and also the pain related to injury. You see, I love sports and love fitness, but the wear and tear was affecting my body.
Having discovered the "new" cannabis and seeing positive results, I explored the possibility that these products might alleviate my pain. Well, they worked, but not without the side effects. I was without pain, but I wasn't as effective. I needed something that would alleviate the pain, but keep my head clear. That's when I discovered CBD!
CBD is short for cannabidiol and is one of the main components of cannabis. CBD can be found in both hemp and marijuana because both are strains of the same plant species - cannabis sativa. The only difference really is legality as the United States and some other countries require legal hemp to have under 0.3% THC. THC is short for DELTA 9 tetrahydrocannabinol and that is the cannabinoid that makes you high. While the high is fun, sometimes you just want pain relief, better sleep, less anxiety and stress without the high.
So, I zeroed in on CBD, but as I tried different products from gummies to tinctures to lotions, the results were mixed and even with the same products were inconsistent.

I started Bold Biologix because I saw and still see the benefits that CBD and cannabis bring millions if not billions around the world.
I made money with previous business ventures and this for me is not about making money, but about providing products that make a difference. I'm tired of knowing more about CBD and the endocannabinoid system than all of the doctors and supposed experts that I run into. It's not that they don't want to know necessarily, but because of the decades long prohibition, even medical schools haven't taught much about the endocannabinoid system, so I end up knowing so much more than these "experts".
CBD seems to have taken the world by storm. The global CBD market was estimated to be worth nearly $5 billion in 2018 and is expected to grow to an astounding $22 billion by 2022. We believe that with the maturation of our market, we have an obligation to evangelize the growing list of benefits that CBD represents, especially to the athletic and fitness markets. We believe that the future of the CBD market is as unlimited as the benefits and through innovation and education, we will continue to improve health and wellness around the globe.
